At Canaveral National Seashore, Eddie Creek

9:00 am - 11:00 am Cast A Wave Program
Join our volunteers to learn the basics of surf fishing. Bring your own equipment if you have any. We will have a few rods available to use for the program. No fishing license required during program. Come prepared to get wet. (2 HRS.)
10:00 am - 12:00 pm Endangered Species Storytelling Workshop
Join a ranger to learn about some of the threatened and endangered animals that call Canaveral home. We will next learn the basics of storytelling with Ada, our volunteer. She will be assisted by Idale Adams and her students from Gardendale Elemetary School in Merritt Island. Children will do a play to learn practical applications of environmental storytelling. This is a junior ranger program. All welcome. Reservations requested because of materials by Nov. 7. Program size itself is not limited. (2 HRS.)
