Local artists will be competing for cash prizes and recognition as they participate in an art show during the Space Coast Birding & Wildlife Festival.The festival committee has invited the Titusville Art League and other artists to enter a purchase award competition that will be limited to original fine art depicting birds, wildlife, or the space coast natural environment. Quality crafts that feature the same environmental theme will also be considered. Winners will be announced at the beginning of the festival.
Festival participants can enjoy this art show during the same hours that the exhibit area is open. We encourage you to visit our local artists. Many pieces of their work will be for sale.
Artists may rent space both inside and outside at Brevard Community College Titusville campus in specially designated areas. If you are interested in qualifying for this competition or wish more information, please contact Neta Harris at 321-268-5224 or Laurilee Thompson at 321-268-5000. Deadline for receiving registration for this event is November1, 2000.
NOTE: The special artist spaces mentioned above, and on the registration form, are for artists entering the competition only. No table or backdrop is provided. There is no charge for space when one piece only is entered in the competition.
