- DEBRA SHEARWATER
World renowned for her work with and knowledge of sea birds; will lead Pelagic birding field trips out of Port Canaveral. Ms. Shearwater will also present Keynote Seminars on:
- Sea Birds and Marine Mammals off the North California Coast
- Seabird Identification Workshop
- DR. JIM DAVIS
(Masters thesis on territoriality of the North American Belted Kingfisher; PhD thesis on vocal in communication kingfishers; Smithsonian Post-doctorate Fellowship in Central America on avian mating systems) will be presenting seminars on "The Art of Interpretive Birding". His presentation covers different techniques for watching bird behavior and includes informative examples illustrating the potential of this unique style of bird watching. He will then lead small groups on 2-3 hour interpretive walks. His representations are well received by both advanced and novice birders.

The Social at Ace of Hearts Ranch will feature a special musical program provided by members of the Thompson Family. The Thompson's are founders and publishers of 'Bird Watcher' magazine.
