It is our pleasure to welcome you to the Fifth Annual Space Coast Birding and Wildlife Festival. The Festival offers four days of unique wildlife, nature and technology tours, field trips, seminars, keynote presentations, and workshops led by nationally recognized naturalists and scientists; all experts in their respective fields. A world class birding competition, which attracts a variety of birders, takes place behind the scenes during the event.
Florida's Space Coast offers 72 miles of high energy coastline, four national wildlife refuges, one national seashore, the nation's most diverse estuary, Florida's longest fresh water river with associated lakes and marshes, 300+ species of birds, 28 Great Florida Birding Trail sites, and the world's only spaceport that is open to the public. At the same time that you are enjoying the festival, four astronauts will be inducted into the Astronaut Hall of Fame. Numerous space-related activities will take place at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex and the Astronaut Hall of Fame. This dynamic area, "Where Nature Meets Space", is a perfect setting for the festival.
We hope your participation in the festival and your opportunity to enjoy the beauty and wonderful climate of Florida's Space Coast is pleasurable. Whether you are a first time visitor, or an old time friend, we are pleased to welcome you!
