Fabulous Florida: A Photographic Journey

Joanne Williams

Joanne Williams
For centuries, the allure of strange wildlife and plants has beckoned explorers, scientists and the curious to journey to Florida’s exotic lands. Third in the nation in diversity and number of endemic, as well as rare, threatened and endangered species, Florida has 81 distinct ecosystems, among which at least seven are considered globally endangered. Included are our unique ancient scrub, Appalachicola bluffs and ravines, Perdido pitcher bogs and the Everglades, as well as dry prairie and coral reef. The only tropical habitat on the continent is located in Florida, as well as the confluence of two flyways.

Join the City of Titusville as we proudly present, Joanne Williams, an accomplished professional photographer whose work may be seen in numerous national and international publications, for a beautiful photographic tour through one of the world’s most diverse locations. Travel along Everglades trails, up and down two coastlines, and visit some of the many interior lakes, farms and ranch lands that are home to a tremendous variety of wildlife. You’ll experience close-up views of our numerous bird species, butterflies, wildflowers, mammals, reptiles and wonderful scenic views of our intriguing lands.
