The Space Coast Birding & Wildlife Festival is again partnering with the Titusville Art League (TAL) and Dynamac International as host and Sponsor, respectively, of the 2003 Festival Art Competition. This aspect of the Festival provides local artists, adults, students and children an opportunity to proudly show their works in a friendly competitive venue.All competition entries will be on display at Brevard Community College, Titusville Campus Gymnatorium, from November 13 through 15. All competitors will be judged on how well they express the natural environments and ecosystems of Florida. First Place in each category will receive $200.00 with prize monies totaling over $1,300.00.
This is an event not to be missed.
COMPETITION
There is a $10.00 fee for each entry into the art competition. All entries should be works completed within the last 12 months, and express the natural environments and ecosystems of Florida.No entry fee for student's posters (prizes are gift certificates). Bonus award of $100 to winner's school Art Department. Size of entry should be half of a standard posterboard.
Entries must be brought to the BCC gymnatorium between 2:00pm and 6:00pm Wednesday, November 12th. Judging will then be held at 2:00pm Thursday, November 13th. All artwork must be available for display through the close of the festival, and need to be picked up Sunday, November 16th between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. Winners will be recognized on Sunday November 16th.
