"THE ERROR OF MY WAYS"

Least Tern by Joanne Williams Presenter: Joanne Williams
How to Improve That Photograph

" Learn from the mistakes of others, as you can never live long enough to make them all yourself." This quotation is the philosophy and foundation that Joanne’s workshop is built on -- one that you can learn from. Joanne is a widely traveled, accomplished photographer; her images grace the pages of numerous publications. At the beginning of the workshop, she will share a few of her experiences, as well as various techniques, equipment and tips that have worked for her and will help you to improve your chance to get that perfect photo. She will give a short slide show sharing the "error of her ways" with some of her throw-in-the-trash images, then explain how she corrected certain situations to improve the outcome. "Digital or Not to Digital" will be discussed briefly. Time will be set aside for classroom participation so all may learn from each other’s work. Depending on class size, participants should bring at least 4 or 5 slides (or prints) to share with the class, and for Joanne’s review. This is a wonderful opportunity to get professional input regarding your individual work.
