The Space Coast Birding and Wildlife festival and The Titusville Art League (TAL) are proud to present the 4th annual Birding and Wildlife Art competition, made possible through the exceptional generosity of Dynamac International, Inc. who is host and sponsor to this year's event.The Festival features 5 days of seminars, field trips, workshops, boat trips and exhibits at the Brevard Community College in Titusville.
All competition entries will be on display at Brevard Community College, Titusville Campus Gymnatorium, from November 17th through 21st. All competitors will be judged on how well they express the natural environments and ecosystems of Florida. First place in each category will receive $200, with prize monies totaling over $1,300.
There is a $10 fee for each entry into the art competition. All entries should be works completed within the last 12 months, and express the natural environments and ecosystems of Florida.
There will be a Poster Competition for children. Top Prize for the wining poster is a $50 gift certificate, with a special $100 award given to the winners school art department. No entry fee for children's posters. Size of entry should be 1/2 of a standard poster board.

- Photography
- 2-Dimensional Art (including painting, mixed media, graphic arts and watercolors)
- 3-Dimensional Art (including sculpture, clay art, wood and glass)

Judging will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov 18th. All artwork must be available for display through the close of the festival, and need to be picked up Sunday, Nov. 21st between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m.

Rules
- All artwork must be appropriate for viewing by all ages.
- All work must be the original work of the submitted artist. No copyrighted work will be accepted unless the submitting artist holds the copyright.
- No copies, reproductions or kits will be accepted.
- The submitted work must have been completed in the last two years and may not have been entered previously.
- Size for hanging pieces shall be no larger than 60 inches in width or height.
- Framed entries with glass shall not exceed 20 inches by 24 inches. Larger works that require protection must use plexi-glass or similar material. Over-sized pieces of glass are too fragile and too heavy for display panels.
- All hanging work must be framed with the following exceptions: Stretched canvas work that has been gallery-wrapped and has no unfinished edges and wall hangings. Work painted on wood panels must have finished and/or painted edges.
- All hanging work must be ready to hang with securely fastened screw eyes and braided picture wire. In the case of metal frames, the fasteners inserted in the frame with screws to which the wire is attached are acceptable. Saw tooth hangers will NOT be accepted. Wall hangings must be able to hang from a standard pegboard hook. ALL WORK THAT IS TO HANG MUST MEET THESE REQUIREMENTS.
- All entries must remain on exhibit throughout the show.
