Birding - Space Coast Birding and Wildlife Festival - Titusville Florida

Photographs submitted were taken at the same locations you visited while attending field trips and workshops. We invite you to let us know how well you think the digiscopers captured the beauty and personality of the numerous resident and migratory species we saw. The winning image will be honored on the cover of the 2009 festival program and utilized in promoting the twelfth season of this premier birding event.

The Festival is produced by the Brevard Nature Alliance, a small non-profit 501 (c) (3), tax-exempt organization. The Festival has grown in recognition and attendance (from about 200 participants in 1997 to more than 3,000 participants in 2007) and so have the costs of providing excellent quality to every participant. As the Festival enters its second decade, Brevard Nature Alliance members want to recognize and reward supporters who have attended the Festival and helped to shape its development by offering a new level of Festival sponsorship. Digiscoping Challenge

Swarovski digiscope scope and camera Bring your digital camera with you to the festival - your digiscoped bird photo may win you a prize! Got a good shot early in the festival? Don't wait! Bring it on down to the Swarovski booth and hand it over! Early submissions will be incorporated into a continuously playing powerpoint show at the Swarovski booth, which will run throughout exhibit hours. On Saturday, pick your five best shots to submit as your entries. Those five entries will go onto the Eagle Optics web site for on-line judging. The winning image will be featured on the cover of the 2009 Space Coast Birding and Wildlife Festival Program. Everyone wins! Each participant will receive a free Swarovski Quick-Snap Adapter, which allows the use of a digital P&S camera with a pair of binoculars.
